    BUZ Interactive ("BUZ"), as the operator of the GETaBUZ Web site (the "Service"), is committed to protecting the privacy of your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how BUZ collects and utilizes your personal information when you use our products and services. In general, we will never rent or sell any of the personally-identifiable information we collect from you to third parties, and will not share your personally identifiable information with third parties without your consent, unless such sharing is necessary for the purposes described below.

    In order to use the Service, you must register online for an account. Here is a list of the information we collect during the registration process and a description of what we do with that information:

    Favorite genre
    		 to personalize your experience using the Service and determine the popularity of different types of music.
    Mobile phone number to deliver products to your voicemail system.
    Carrier to deliver products to your voicemail system.
    Voicemail PIN
    		to deliver products to your own voicemail box.
    Person who referred you to credit the account of a user who referred you to the Service.

    We also track the purchases you make for the purposes of paying royalties and other fees associated with those purchases, and for better understanding the usage of our Service.
    We do not store your billing or credit card information. This information is stored and managed by our payment services provider, PayPal, and is subject to the privacy policies described on PayPal's Web site.
    Like most Web sites, we use cookies to improve the efficiency of your experience using our Service and to better understand how the Service is used across our user base. We treat any personal information that may be contained in cookies with the same level of confidentiality as other information you provide to us.
    BUZ does not require that you accept cookies, however, some functionality of our Service may be disabled if you decline to do so. If you are concerned about the use of cookies, you should be able to set your browser to notify you when you receive a cookie, giving you the option to accept it or not.
    The Service is not intended for children under the age of 13. BUZ does not knowingly collect information about children under the age of 13 and we encourage parents to use Web filtering technology to supervise access to the Web.

    How We Keep Your Information Secure

    BUZ is committed to protecting your personal information and uses the following mechanisms to do so:
    • Connections containing sensitive information between your Web browser and our servers are secured using SSL.
    • Access to databases that store your personal information is restricted, and employees who require access to the databases for system maintenance purposes are subject to confidentiality requirements

    When, How and Why We Share Your Information with Third Parties

    BUZ only uses your personal information for purposes that are in line with providing the Service as described above.

    In some cases, in order to provide the Service to you, we will need to provide your personal information to a third party. Examples of when we may need to do this include when you pay for use of the Service through PayPal, or click a link on our site that connects you to a third party site. The use of the information by third parties will be governed by their privacy policy and we encourage you to review the privacy policy of the third party to understand how they use the personal information provided to them.

    BUZ may be required to provide specific access and usage information to certain content providers and rights holders as a condition of content licensing and royalties. In such cases, we may provide content usage, access, demographic and other information without your personally identifiable information (your name, email address, etc.) to the content provider.

    Access to your personal information may be required by companies with which we contract to manage and maintain the Service. These contractors may include customer service providers and information technology providers. The contractors are bound by contractual requirements to keep all personal information they process and access strictly confidential and to use such information solely on behalf of BUZ.

    BUZ may disclose your personal information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law; (b) comply with the order of a competent judicial authority in any jurisdiction; (c) comply with legal process served on BUZ; (d) protect and defend the BUZ’s rights or property; or (e) act in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of BUZ products or the public at large.

    Our Service may contain links to other Web sites and products. BUZ is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such Web sites or products. Please review the privacy policies of these third party sites in order to understand their data collection practices.

    How BUZ Communicates with You

    When you register for the Service, you can tell us how you want us to communicate with you. You will receive two types of information from us: status messages that provide information on your use of the service, such as registration and delivery confirmations; and marketing messages such as the availability of new products or features, or newsletters and promotional offers for our products and those of our partners and affiliates.

    If you choose to receive status messages via SMS, all delivery confirmations will be delivered through text messaging except in the case of delivery failure messages, which may be delivered to your email. During registration, you will also be sent an SMS message for security purposes to verify your access to the phone you specify.

    If you choose to receive status messages via email, all such messages will be sent to the email address you specify. We recommend that you set the filter on your email system to specifically allow messages from the getabuz.com domain to ensure receipt of critical account and Service status information.

    You may change your preferences for receiving communications from us at any time, either during registration or by modifying your preferences on the My BUZ page of the site.

    How to Update Your Personal Information

    To access your account information and preferences, select My BUZ from the menu on the site. You will first need to login to your account. If you have forgotten your BUZ password, please click on the link on the Login page of the site and we will email you a new one. For further assistance, complete the Contact Us form on the site.

    Changes to our Privacy Policy

    We frequently revise this Privacy Policy to keep it up to date with BUZ products, services and Web pages. Please check the date at the top of the Privacy Policy to determine when the last update was made.

    Non-US Customer Information

    While messages can currently only be delivered through the Service to phone numbers in the United States, you may still register and use the service to send BUZ greetings to U.S. phone numbers if you are outside the U.S. If you are a BUZ customer who lives outside the United States, the personal information you submit will be stored in servers in our U.S. operations center. The personal information practices set out in this Privacy Policy apply to all customers of the Service worldwide.
